Agnieszka Włodarczyk Martínez shared powerful insights in the Human Touch in a Digital World Workshop Snack. This blog highlights her most relevant takeaways on the topic. As a leadership and change coach, she helps people balance technology and human connection. Her message is clear: in a world full of AI and digital tools, human skills, like emotional, social and systemic intelligence, are no longer “nice to have”, they are essential for effective, resilient leadership.
Here are three practical ways to bring more human connection into your work:
1. Become the CEO of your reactions, decisions, and system dynamics
Agnieszka created the CEO Tool – Check, Emotions, Outcome to help you pause and notice what truly matters before reacting:
- C = Check → Pause. What’s happening here? What are the facts? What assumptions might we be making?
- E = Emotions → What emotions are present in you, in the team, and in the wider system (customers, employees, leadership)?
- O = Outcome → What conscious choice could lead to the best result (ideally a win–win)?
2. Listen to the “voice of the system”
Using the Third Entity (ORSC™) Lens, you stop focusing only on individuals and hear what the whole team or relationship is expressing. Every voice – spoken or silent – carries part of the truth. This perspective helps you resolve conflicts faster and align people more effectively.
3. Use your body as a compass
Apply simple embodied practices – a breath, a short movement, or grounding your nervous system – to reset your state and gain clarity. Try it before meetings or negotiations to show up more present, calm, and open.
Balancing technology with human connection is no longer optional. Entrepreneurs, leaders, changemakers, freelancers – if we want sustainable progress and business outcomes, it starts with how we show up as humans to make a positive change from the inside out.
